I am convinced that everyone, also managers, should be in the "luxury situation" to get access to bigger time slots, to have time to get into a flow and concentrate for two to three hours without being disturbed. Otherwise quality will suffer with a nearly 100% chance. 
Imagine a week, where you have two, three or four of these slots as a matter of course because you and your surroundings know that productivity means having time to be productive.
